"Animals of the North: What Does the Future Hold" is sponsored by Woods, Wildlife and Warblers, and co-sponsors Vermont Woodlands Association, Vermont Tree Farm Program, Audubon Vermont, American Forest Foundation and the U.S. Forest Service, Green Mountain National Forest.
Sue's lecture will cover species living in the arctic, including Canada lynx, American marten, caribou, polar bear, arctic fox, arctic marine animals and waterfowl. Sue's intent is not to overwhelm the audience with bad news. Instead, this program will devote equal time to sharing remarkable images and stories aboujt plants and animals in their northern habitats - - all in the spirit of Jane Goodall's "reason for hope". The intent is to inspire the audience , young and old alike, to join Keeping Track and our hosts in the vital crusade to change our fossil fuel-burning ways, conserve natural resources and share a healthy planet with all species that live on it.
