Keeping Track's Sue Morse and Audubon Vermont's Sophie Mazowita will be leading a full-day workshop in the woods of Wolfrun, Jericho, Vermont. Join them as the search for animal sign, fresh tracks and trails, and even a single hair snagged on tree bark. They will also be listening for sounds of winter birds and discussing how their calls alert animals to the presence of predators.
Hiking will be moderate, on and off trails. Snowshoes are recommended. Sue has snowshoes for rent at $10.00 per pair, but be sure to let us know ahead of time if snowshoes need to be rented. You can reach Keeping Track at (802)434-7000 or info@keepingtrack.org.
This event is recommended for adults. The fee for members is $55.00 and for non-members is $60.00. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Please call (802)434-3068 or email vermont@audubon.org. Carpooling will be from the Richmond Park and Ride.
