Make up foot morphology class for Winooski Valley Park District and Cold Hollow to Canada KTMP teams

Location:
Montgomery, VT Library, 84 Mountain Road, Montgomery Center, VT 05471

This foot morphology class is a make-up class for the Winooski Valley Park District and Cold Hollow to Canada KTMP course.  By the end of of the evening you should be able to tell the difference between the feet of canids, felids, ungulates, mustelids, mice, skunks, raccoons, oppossum, squirrels, shrews, moles, some birds, and even a few reptiles.  Get a partner and see how good you are at making these identifications as Sue passes freeze-dried feet around the room. She also explains how foot design suits an animal's survival in its preferred habitat. The PotLuck dinners are legendary from these hosts.

Questions about this class can be directed to Nancy Patch of Cold Hollow to Canada at Nanc.Patch@gmail.com or Lauren Chicote of the Winooski Valley Park Disctrict KTMP team at info@wvpd.org.

Try not to miss this class as it should be the last foot morphology class for this training season.

To get there, take Route 118 to Montgomery Center.  Stay straight onto Route 242 (Moutain Road) towards Jay Peak.  Go just 300 to 400 feet and turn right into the Montgomery Fire and Rescue lot (there is a sign there for the library).  The library is on the far right of the building.
