Re-scheduled from Feb. 20th - Good Forestry is Good for Wildlife: A field workshop with focus on black bear

Location:
Wolfrun, Jericho, Vermont

Nancy Patch, Franklin and Grand Isle County Forester and I enthusiastically agree--the black bear is a key beneficiary of good forest management practices! Join us in the field for a day of seeing first hand and sharing a variety of topics, including bear biology and ecology, as well as the positive outcome of various forest management practices as they stimulate more productive and diversified food and cover resources for the benefit of all wildlife, especially bears.

The workshop is sponsored by Vermont Woodlands Association and pre-registration is required.  Since there is a maximum of 20 participants register right away.  Please call the VWA office at (802)747-7900 or email at info@vermontwoodlands.org with any questions.  Directions will be sent to you upon registering.  Dress for the weather and bring your lunch (thermos of soup or warm beverage is always good!).
